Keep frozen. Cook thoroughly. For food safety & quality, read and follow these cooking instructions to ensure that product reaches an internal temperature of 160 degrees F. Stove top skillet cooking. Since stove tops and skillets vary, cooking heat and times may require adjusting. For best results, use large, non stick skillet. For non-coated skillet, add one tablespoon vegetable oil or coat with non-stick cooking spray before preparing. 1. Pour contents of bag into skillet. 2. Cover and cook over medium high heat 5 minutes; remove cover. Stir and re-cover. 3. Reduce heat to medium and continue cooking 9 minutes, stirring frequently. Carefully remove cover. Serve. Microwave oven cooking: Directions developed using 1100 watt microwave oven. Ovens vary; cooking time may need to be adjusted. To avoid damage to microwave oven, do not prepare product in bag. Do not cook in microwaves below 1100 watts as product may not cook thoroughly - use stove top preparation instead. 1. Pour contents of bag into 1 1/2 or 2-quart microwave-safe dish. Cover and cook on high 6 minutes; remove cover. Stir and re-cover. 2. Continue cooking on high 3 minutes; remove cover. Stir and re-cover. Continue cooking on high 2 1/2 minutes. 3. Using potholders and both hands, carefully remove dish from microwave. Let stand 5 minutes. Carefully remove cover and stir. Serve. Caution: when removing cover from skillet or microwave-safe dish, be careful of escaping steam.
