Rinse unit out thoroughly before first use. 1. Remove top of unit from base by twisting in opposite directions and lifting off top. 2. Fill base to water line with hot (not boiling) tap water. Note: If you overfill, the unit will leak. 3. Open Vicks scent pad packet and add to the water. As an alternative, one teaspoonful of Vicks VapoSteam or Kaz Inhalant can also be used. Replace the top. Caution: Product contains hot water. To avoid hot water spilling after filling, be sure to properly secure top housing by snapping back in place. 4. Breathe in the soothing Vicks vapors. Care and cleaning: After each use, thoroughly wash and dry your inhaler. The unit is top shelf dishwasher safe.
