Never leave a lighted candle unattended. Use on a stable, temperature-safe surface. Place candle away from other combustibles such as wood structures, fuels, clothing, fabrics or dry vegetation. Trim candlewicks to 1/4 inch each time before burning and keep wax pool free of debris. Never touch a burning candle or move a votive or candle container when the wax is liquid. Never extinguish candles with water. Water can cause the hot wax to splatter and may cause a glass container to break. Use a snuffer to completely extinguish the flame.
