Directions

Heating Instructions: For best flavor and consistency, we recommend serving the cheese sauce warm (between 140 degrees F/60 degrees C and 165 degrees F/73.9 degrees C), and always comply with all applicable laws and regulations (which may require a different temperature range). Product can be warmed using most moist heating methods (such as a compatible steam table. Double boiler, or cheese sauce dispenser), or the cheese sauce can be microwaved (between 140 degrees F/60 degrees C and 165 degrees F/73.9 degrees C), stirring frequently, in a separate microwave-safe container for immediate use. Caution: The container and cheese sauce will be hot. Once opened, unused product must be continuously heated at no less than 140 degrees F/60 degrees C and must be used within 6 hours if heated to 165 degrees F/73.9 degrees C or used within 5 days if held hot between 140 degrees F/60 degrees C and 164.9 degrees F/73.8 degrees C. Alternatively, opened cheese sauce can be refrigerated for up to 5 days if done so safely and in a separate tightly-sealed plastic container: however, before serving, the cheese sauce must be safely heated to 165 degrees F/73.9 degrees C within 2 hours (or hotter and more quickly if required by applicable laws and regulations). Heating from refrigeration more than once is not recommended. Storage Instructions: Store unopened product in its original packaging below 90 degrees F/32.2 degrees C, but never frozen.
