D'Artagnan buffalo are raised on vast pastures at a cooperative of ranches in Canada and the U.S. These indigenous animals, technically bison, are raised with minimal human interaction, and are left to graze as they have done for many centuries. The plains breed buffalo are raised to meet our exacting specifications on a 100% vegetarian diet, in a clean, natural* and humane environment, without the use of hormones** or steroids. Try all our buffalo products. Ground Patties. Ground Meat. Top Sirloin Steak and Rib-Eye Steak. **USDA regulations do not permit added growth hormones in raising buffalo.
