Keep frozen. Cooking instructions. Deep fryer. 1. In a deep fryer or skillet, preheat enough oil at 360 degrees F (182 degrees C) to cover yucs fries. 2. Place up to 1 lb of frozen yuca fries in the fryer. Do not overload the fryer. 3. Fry for 3 to 4 minutes or until golden yellow*. 4. Drain on a paper towel. 5. Add salt to taste. *Frying time may vary depending on the fryer capacity to maintain frying temperature. Do not overcook. Alternative cooking option as boiled yuca: Microwave oven. 1. In a microwave-safe bowl, add 1 lb. frozen yuca fries. 2. Sprinkle 2 to 3 tablespoons of water over the yuca to moisten. 3. Cook 2 to 3 minutes. 4. Add salt as desired. 5. Drain and serve. Note: fry from a frozen state.
