Recommended daily feeding amounts. Weight of dog: 3-12lbs. Amount to feed: 1/3 to 1 cup. Weight of dog: 13-20lbs. Amount to feed:1 - 1/2 cups. Weight of dog: 21-35lbs. Amount to feed: - 1 1/21- 2 1/4cups. Weight of dog: 36-59lbs. Amount to feed: 2 1/4 to 3 cups. Weight of dog: 51-75lbs. Amount to feed: 3 to 4 cups. Weight of dog: 76-100lbs. Amount to feed: 4 to 5 cups. Weight of dog: Over 100lbs. Amount to feed: 5 cups plus 1/2 cups. Recommended daily feeding amounts for adult dogs with normal activity using a standard 8 oz/250 ml measuring cup which contains approximately 96 g of Purina One. Feeding adult dogs: Factors, such as a dog's metabolism, breed size, activity level, age and whether the dog and is spayed or neutered, will affect the amount of Purina One needed to maintain an body ideal body condition. If water is added, use no more than one part warm (not hot) liquid to four parts Purina One, changing frequently to ensure freshness. If fed dry, this formula may be kept before pups at all times. Feeding for reproduction: Purina One provides the extra nutrition needed by reproducing females in stages of gestation and lactation. Food consumption may vary during gestation, so feed the amount needed to maintain the pregnant female's good body condition. Food intake may double or even quadruple during lactation. Making the switch to Purina One: Although you'll be anxious to see the difference Purina One can make in your dog, please allow 7-10 days to ease the transition from your dog's current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Purina One until you're feeding Purina One exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. Fresh water, proper diet & veterinary care: Be sure to provide fresh water in a clean container for your dog daily.
