Feeding instructions: When switching to Guaranteed Value™ dry cat food from another cat food, allow 7 to 10 days for the transition. Mix increasing amounts of Guaranteed Value™ dry cat food with decreasing amounts of your cat's previous food until you are feeding only Guaranteed Value™ dry cat food. Feeding rates should be adjusted based upon breed type, activity, or environmental conditions. Protect the food from moisture - store in a cool, dry place. Close package tightly and store away from your cat. Remember to always keep fresh, clean drinking water available for your cat. Adult feeding guidelines: Cat weight - 3-6 lbs. Amount to feed* - 1/4 to 2/3 cup. Cat weight - 6-9 lbs. Amount to feed* - 2/3 to 1 cup. Cat weight - 9-12 lbs. Amount to feed* - 1 to 1 1/3 cups. Over 12 lbs. - 1 1/3 cups plus 1/3 cup for every 3 lbs. of body weight over 12 lbs. *Using a standard 8 oz dry measuring cup.
