Previously handled frozen for your protection. Refreeze or keep refrigerated. Cooking instructions: For patties: Slice roll into 1/2 inch slices. (For easier slicing, roll may be placed in freezer for 10-15 minutes). Place sausage slices in cold skillet, turn heat to medium or 300 degrees F. Cook each side 6-7 minutes or until desired color is attained. For crumbles: Place sausage in cold skillet on stove top. Cook on medium heat and break into desired piece size with a fork or spatula until meat is browned and thoroughly cooked. Approximately 10-15 minutes. *Always cook this product to 160 degrees F prior to serving.
