Prep Instructions: 1. Open can. Remove and discard oxygen absorber*. 2. Carefully add 5 cups (40 fl oz, 1.2 l) of cold water to contents of can. 3. Stir throughly to wet all ingredints and serve. * If you forget to remove the oxygen absorber before adding water, don't worry. Your food is still safe to eat. Simply remove and discard the absorber. To prepare a single serving: Add 1/4 cup of cold water to 2/3 cups to dry mix. Stir and serve. Simply open the can, add water, stir, wait a few minutes, and serve. Storage and Handling: It is necessary to store Mountain House products properly to ensure maximum shelf life. Store the product in a cool area, avoid long-term storage above 75°F, and be careful to not puncture the cans. Under these conditions, Mountain House meals will maintain their shelf life for product quality, flavor and nutritional value. Once open, contents should be used immediately. However, product resealed using the included plastic lid has been found to be acceptable up to one week after opening.
