Preparation directions for chicken: Removing skin from chicken before coating provides a lower fat alternative. Measure mixture into shaker bag or onto plate. Moisten chicken with water or milk. Shake off excess. Coat chicken 1 or 2 pieces at a time. Discard any mixture remaining on plate or in bag. Bake as indicated in chart below. These cooking times are only a guide. Chicken pieces - 2 to 3. Coating mix - 1/4 packet. Conventional oven bake at 400 degrees F† with bones - 40 minutes / boneless /skinless - 15 minutes. Chicken pieces - 4 to 5. Coating mix - 1/2 packet. Conventional oven bake at 400 degrees F† with bones - 44 minutes / boneless /skinless - 18 minutes. Chicken pieces - 6 to 8. Coating mix - 1 packet. Conventional oven bake at 400 degrees F† with bones - 50 minutes / boneless /skinless - 20 minutes. Conventional oven: bake uncovered until thoroughly cooked.
