Directions

Keep refrigerated. Carando Spiral Sliced Hams are fully cooked and are delicious served cold. If you would like to serve the ham warm and/or glazed, follow the directions below. Heating and Glazing the Ham: 1. Heat oven to 275 degrees Fahrenheit. 2. Remove all packaging include the clear "button" on bone of ham. 3. Place ham in shallow roasting pan. Quarter and half hams should be cooked flat/face side down. Whole hams should be cooked fat side up. Cover ham tightly with aluminum foil. 4. Heat at 275 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately 15 minutes per pound until heated through. Do not overheat! 5. Remove ham from oven. Microwave glaze packet on High (100% power) for 30 to 40 seconds. Cut corner off packet and squeeze evenly over the top of ham. If desired, use knife to spread glaze between slices. Let stand 15 to 20 minutes before serving. Ham Size - Quarter. Weight - 3 to 4/12 lbs. Approx. Bake Time - 1 hour. Servings - 6 to 8. Ham Size - Half. Weight - 7 to 9 lbs. Approx Bake Time - 2 hours. Servings - 12-16. Ham Size - Whole. Weight - 14 to 18 lbs. Approx. Bake Time - 3 1/2 hours. Servings - 24 to 32. Ham Carving Instructions: To serve from platter, set ham its side, then gently fan slices out from the bone. For a dinner presentation, full slices are recommended. For a buffet, smaller slices are preferred. Using a sharp knife, cut several slices deep along the natural fat lines (will be three sections). Remove the sections and fan out on a serving platter. Leftovers: Be creative! Ham Slices are perfect for sandwiches or as a side with eggs. Dice leftover ham for adding to casseroles, omelets, soups and vegetables. And don't forget the bone! It is perfect for adding flavor to soups and beans. Use or freeze leftovers within 5 to 7 days. Left over Spiral Sliced Ham freezes well. Cut ham into slices or cubes and store in convenient sized packages. Wrap the meat tightly, pressing as much air out of the package as possible. Label with the name of the ham cute and date. Leftovers stored in the freezer are best used in 3 months.
