Cooking Directions: 1. In a 6-8 quart stock pot over high heat, bring 4-6 quarts of water to a rolling boil. Add salt, if desired. 2. Add desired amount of pasta to boiling water; stir gently. Return to a boil. 3. Boil, uncovered, stirring occasionally, 10-12 minutes al dente pasta (firm to the bite); continue boiling 1 minute longer for more tender pasta. 4. Remove from heat; drain well.
