Directions

Cooking directions: Combine 1 cup rice and 2-1/2 cups water in medium saucepan. Bring to a soft boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and cook 50 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat; let stand covered, 10 minutes before serving. Makes 3 cups cooked rice or 4 (314 cup) servings. Note: if using electric rice cooker, combine 1 cup rice and 3 cups water in electric rice cooker pot. Continue as directed by electric rice cooker manufacturer. When cooking is complete, allow rice to stand covered 10 minutes before serving.
