Cooking suggestion. Beef Carne Asaba: what's included: sauce and spice & herbs blend (see side of box). What you'll need: 2lbs beef flank or skirt steak. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (stove-top directions only). Cooking directions: 1. Place steak in shallow dish or resealable bag. Add sauce and seasoning; coat steak. Cover, or seal bag, and marinate in refrigerator at least 2 hours, or overnight. 2. Cook as directed below, until Instant-read thermometer inserted in thickest part of steak reads 145 degrees f. Gas grill: heat grill to med-high. Grill steak, turning occasionally, 22 to 26 minutes. Broiler: position oven rack 6 to 8 inches from broiler element. Heat broiler to high. Place steak in foil lined pan; Discard excess marinade. Broil steak, turning occasionally, 22 to 26 minutes. Stove-top: heat 2 tbsp oil in large skillet over med-high heat carefully add steak; discard excess marinade. Cook, turning occasionally, 24 to 28 minutes. 3. Transfer cooked steak to cutting board; let rest 5 minutes. Slice Thinly across grain. For food safety and quality, follow the cooking directions. Refrigerate leftovers. Great with beef steak. Complete the meal pair with rice, beans and veggies or put in a taco. For an added kick, squeeze lime and sprinkle cilantro.
