Keep frozen. Boiled cassava: Without defrosting, place cassava in a sauce pan with enough hot water to cover it. Add one teaspoon of salt and one of lemon juice. Cover it and boil about 30 minutes or until cassava is tender. For added flavor, pour a delicious sauce of olive oil mixed with finely pressed garlic on top. French fried cassava: Cut cooked cassava lengthwise, sprinkle with lemon juice and fry in vegetable oil until crisp. Try with cabbage salad on top mixed with lemon juice.
