Simmer: Put contents of package in 1 cup boiling water and bring to a second boil. Separate with fork, if necessary, for uniform cooking. Reduce heat and cook uncovered 15 minutes, until just tender. Do not overcook. Drain and season to taste. Microwave ovens: Put contents of package in 1 quart microwave-safe dish with 2 tablespoons water. Cover and cook on high for 3 minutes* separate with fork, if necessary, and stir. Cook 10 to 12 minutes longer. Season to taste. *Microwave cooking times may vary from one oven to another. For best results, consult owners manual. To store: Keep frozen until ready to use. If thawed, cook promptly. Store at 0 degrees F. Check freezer temperature with thermometer and adjust controls as needed. Keep frozen.
