Water - 2 1/2 cups. Salt (optional) - 1/2 tsp. (opt.). Oats - 2 cups. Stovetop: Boil water, add salt (optional), slowly stir Scottish-Style Oats into water. Cook for 6-10 minutes, stirring frequently. Serve. Microwave: Mix Scottish-style oats with water in a 2 cup cereal bowl. Microwave on high for 3 minutes.
