Do not use a combination winch bar to tension a lever chain binder as doing so may result in binder and chain tensions exceeding applicable working load limits. When required, Kinedyne recommends the use of a combination winch bar with a lever chain binder for load release only. Product Details
The Z-shaped winch bar that rotates 360 degrees for easier leverage. This winch bar is intended to be used by qualified, trained personnel in accordance with applicable load securement standards. Refer to WSTDA, FMSCA, NACM and all other applicable federal, state, provincial and industry regulations for additional information. Check winch and winch bar for defects and proper operation prior to tensioning or releasing tie-down. Do not use if damaged. Do not alter or increase the length of the winch bar (cheater bar). Do not reach or lean across which bar during operation. Keep clear of the moving winch bar as it may whip during release of chain binder. This winch bar is designed to be used only in a position angled downward from the pivot point. Use of the bar in any other position may cause the bar to roll. www.kinedyne.com.
