Directions: 1. Turn locking ring counter-clockwise, until shovel unlocks. 2. Unfold shovel. 3. Straighten the shaft, blade, and handle. Turn locking ring clockwise until tight to lock the blade in place. 4. To use the shovel in pick configuration, set blade at 90 degrees angle from shaft and handle, then lock the blade using the locking ring.
