How to start using your Playtex?? Twist 'n Click??? cup: Step 1: clean the cup before first use and immediately after each use (see cleaning instructions below). Step 2: for cups with spouts, after cleaning, pinch both ends of valve to open slits (see illustration 1). Then insert the valve firmly until it can't be pushed any further (see illustration 2). For cups with straws, after cleaning, pinch attached valve to open slit (see illustration 3) before reinserting it back into the end of the short straw. Then reinsert short straw through bottom of lid (see illustration 4) and attach long straw onto end of valve (see illustration 5). Step 3: after filling the cup, screw lid on tightly by twisting until you hear/feel the click and the arrow on the lid points anywhere within the zone marked on the cup rim (see illustration 6). You are now guaranteed a leak-proof seal. Step 4: enjoy your new Playtex?? Twist 'n Click??? cup! How to clean your Playtex?? Twist 'n Click??? cup: The cup, lid, and valve (or straw) are top rack dishwasher safe, or are hand washable. Remove the valve from cups with spouts, or remove both straw pieces and open the valve connected to the short straw, from the lid before washing. For cups with spouts, store the valve under the lid when washing parts in the dishwasher (see illustration 7). Avoid use of abrasive cleaners. Tips for optimal performance from your Playtex?? Twist 'n Click??? cup: For 100% leak-proof seal, twist lid closed until you hear/feel the click and you see the arrow on lid point anywhere within the zone marked on the cup rim (see illustration 6). For cups with spouts, push the valve firmly into both holes, until it can't be pushed any further, to ensure optimal spill-proof performance and drinkability for child. For straw cups, close the slider on the top of the cup to store the straw, keep it clean, and ensure 100% spill-proof performance. Cups should be kept upright to ensure 100% spill-proof performance. Do not use cups with carbonated beverages or pulpy juices. Do not use cups in the microwave. The cup is 100% leak-proof and break-proof when used as intended.
