Cherry Pie Preparation: Prepare pastry for two-crust 8 inch pie. Pour Best Choice pie filling into pastry lined pie plate. Cut slits in top crust and fit over filling. Turn edge under, seal and flute. Bake at 425 degrees F for 30 minutes. For open face pie, pour filling into baked pie shell. Cherry Delight: 1-21 oz. can Best Choice cherry pie filling. 4 Tbsp. Best Choice butter or margarine. 2 Tbsp. Best Choice sugar. 1 Best Choice egg, slightly beaten 1 tsp. Best Choice baking soda 1/4 tsp. Best Choice salt. 1/2 cup Best Choice walnuts, chopped 1 cup Best Choice Flour 1/2 pint Best Choice whipped Topping, 3 oz. Best Choice cream cheese 1/2 cup Best Choice confectioner's Sugar 1 tsp. Best Choice vanilla. Combine flour, butter sugar, egg, salt, baking soda and walnuts. Press into a greased 9 inch x 9 inch baking pan. Bake in a preheated 350 degrees F oven for 15 minutes. Cool. Whip cream. Blend softened cream cheese with confectioner's sugar and vanilla. Fold whipped topping into cheese mixture. Spread on crust. Top cream layer with cherry pie filling. Refrigerate four or more hours before serving. Garnish with more whipped topping.
