Feeding Guidelines: Puppies begin to eat solid food around three or four weeks of age. Start puppies with Field Trial Premium Puppy Power moistened with water or milk. Mix one part food with two parts milk or water. Gradually reduce the amount of liquid until the puppy is eating only dry food. Utilize the feeding table below as a guide. Feed puppies Field Trial Premium Puppy Power until they are one year old. Growth: Keep Field Trial Premium Puppy Power before puppies at all times. Reproduction: Food consumption may vary throughout gestation and lactation. During gestation, feed the amount to maintain the weight of the pregnant female. During lactation, feed 3 to 4 times normal intake. Daily Feeding Guides (Using standard 8 oz. measuring cup): Size of Puppy - Up to 14 wks - 14 to 20 wks - 20 wks and older: small (3 to 20 lbs.) - 1/4 to 1 cup - 1 to 2 cups - 2 to 3 cups; medium (21 to 50 lbs.) - 1/2 to 2 cups - 2 to 3 cups - 3 to 5 cups; large (51 to 100 lbs.) - 1 to 4 cups - 4 to 8 cups - 8 to 10 cups. Feeding rates should be adjusted based upon breed type activity or environmental conditions. Keep fresh drinking water available for your pet at all times. Protect food from moisture - store in cool, dry place.
