Feeding Instructions: When switching to sunshine bite size dog food allow 7 to 10 days for the transition. Mix increasing amounts of Sunshine bite size dog food with decreasing amounts of your dog's previous food until you are feeding only sunshine bite size dog food. Feed Sunshine bite size dog food either dry or moistened with water. If you are mixing with water, mix one part Sunshine bite size dog food to no more than four parts water. The chart below represents the total recommended volume of food per day for adult dogs. Feeding rates should be adjusted based upon breed type, activity, or environmental conditions. Recommended Daily Feeding Guideline for Adult Dogs: Breed Size: Toy; Weight: 3 to 12 lbs.; Amount to Feed (Using a standard 8oz. measuring cup.): 1/2 to 1 3/4 cups. Breed Size: Small; Weight: 13 to 20 lbs.; Amount to Feed (Using a standard 8oz. measuring cup.): 1 3/4 to 1 3/4 to 2 1/2 cups. Breed Size: Medium; Weight: 21 to 50 lbs.; Amount to Feed (Using a standard 8oz. measuring cup.): 2 1/2 to 4 1/2 cups. Breed Size: Large; Weight: 51 to 100 lbs.; Amount to Feed (Using a standard 8oz. measuring cup.): 41/2 to 7 1/2 cups. Breed Size: Extra Large; Weight: Over 100 lbs.; Amount to Feed (Using a standard 8oz. measuring cup/): 7 1/2 cups plus 1/2 cup for each 10 lbs of body weight over 100 lbs.
