You’ll Need: Dough 1 yeast packet, included. 1 cup (227 g) water, hot (115 degrees to 120 degrees F). 2 tablespoons (28 g) unsalted butter, melted. Topping: 6 tablespoons (85 g) unsalted butter, melted. 1 garlic bread seasoning packet, included. 1/2 cup (113 g) shredded mozzarella, cheddar, or gouda, optional. Directions; 1. Combine mix, yeast, water, and 2 tablespoons (28 g) melted butter until soft, shaggy dough forms. Knead dough until smooth on a lightly floured surface, about 1 to 2 minutes. 2. Divide dough into 24 pieces (about 28 g each), roll into balls, and place in greased 8 inch square or 9 inch round pan. Cover and let rise for 15 minutes, then stir together melted butter for topping with garlic bread seasoning. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 375 degrees F. 3. Pour butter mixed with seasoning over dough, cover, and let rise for 15 minutes more, until puffy. Sprinkle with cheese, if desired. 4. Bake for 22 to 28 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted. Cool for 10 minutes. Serve warm. Perfectly easy and oh-so cheesy. Makes one 8 inch square pan or 9 inch round garlic bread. In just about an hour, you can create this tender pull-apart bread filled with cheese and buttery goodness - a delightful accompaniment to any meal.
