Freekeh is easy to cook - just like rice. To cook 4 servings - empty 1 cup of Freekeh and 2 1/2cups water or broth in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 20-25 minutes or until desired tenderness is reached. Add salt to taste. 1 pouch of Freekeh = 4 servings. For best results store in a cool dry place. Refrigerate unused portion to retain freshness.
