Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. 3 Bake: Bake 12 to 14 minutes, or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 1 minute before removing from sheet. Cool completely; store in airtight container. High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): Use 1/3 cup butter, margarine or spread (Spread should have at least 60% vegetable oil), melted, and 1 egg. For Cutout Cookies: 2 Tablespoons gold medal all-purpose flour. 1/3 cup butter, melted. 1 egg. 1 Heat: Heat oven to 375 degrees F (or 350 degrees F for nonstick cookie sheet). 2 Stir: Stir 1 pouch cookie mix and all-purpose flour together. Add melted butter and egg in medium bowl until well blended. Roll dough on lightly floured surface until 1/4 inch thick. Cut with 2 -1/2-inch cookie cutter and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. 3. Bake: Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 1 minute before removing from sheet. Cool completely; store in airtight container. High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): No change. Do not eat raw cookie dough. Bettys Tips: For drop cookies, use 1 stick (1/2 cup) margarine or spread.
