Butter Recipe: 1 Bag of Pamela’s brownie mix. 1/2 cup oil. 1 egg, large. 6 Tbsp butter (softened). 1/4 cup water. Cake-Like Brownies: Add additional 1/4 cup water to original or butter recipe. Fudgiest Brownie Recipe. 1 bag of Pamela’s brownie mix. 1/2 cup oil. 1/3 cup water. Oil Free Brownie Recipe: 1 Bag of Pamela’s brownie mix. 1/2 Cup applesauce. 1 Egg, large. 1/4 Cup water. Optional Ideas: Add 1/2 cup nuts and/or chocolate chips. Original Recipe: 1 bag Pamela's Brownie mix, 1/2 cup oil, 1 egg, large, 1/4 cup water. Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease one 8 inch or 9 inch square pan. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix gently with a fork until just combined. Do not over mix. Batter will be thick. Pour into pan, smoothing evenly to the edges. Bake for 18 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into center of brownies comes out with slight crumbs. Some recipes may need extra bake time. Do not overbake.
