Ingredients for 2 Servings. You Will Need: 1/2 cup water. 2 eggs. 10 oz. cabbage, chopped. 1 oz. green onion, chopped. 2 tbsp. vegetable oil. 6 slices pork belly (or bacon), Skip for vegetarian options. How To Make Okonomiyaki: You can change ingredients to suit your taste. 1. Mix: Mix the whole bag of okonomiyaki flour with eggs and water in a bowl. Add cabbage and green onion and mix again. 2. Heat: Heat griddle or frying pan at medium heat and add 1 tbsp oil. Add half mixture onto the frying pan and place 3 slices of pork belly or bacon on the top. 3. Cook: Cook for 4 minutes. Then, flip it over and cook for another 4 minutes. Finally flip it back. Repeat the process by using the remaining mixture for the second okonomiyaki. 4. Topping: Drizzle sauce evenly over each okonomiyaki. Add mayonnaise, dried seaweed, and bonito flakes of your preference.
