Vegetables, Annuals, Perennials & Bedding Plants: New Plantings: During bed preparation, mix in 3/4 of cup of Dr. Earth pure gold all purpose fertilizer for every 10 square feet of growing area (Approx. 2 x 5), or 3 cups for every 50 feet of planting row. Till the soil to a depth of 6 to 12 inches and water well. Established Plants: Use 1 cup for every 20 square feet (Approx. 4 x 5) of growing area, or 1-1/2 cups for every 50 feet of row. Water thoroughly after application. When to Apply: Every other month year-round. Potted Plants: New Plantings: When potting plants, mix 1 heaping tablespoon of Dr. Earth Pure Gold all purpose fertilizer per gallon of potting soil, or add 1/4 cup per 1/2 cubic foot (Approx. 5 gallons) of potting soil. Mix fertilizer & soil thoroughly. Water well after planting. Established Plants: Sprinkle 1 tablespoon for every 6 inches of pot diameter, or 1/4 cup per 1/2 cubic foot (Approx. 5 gallons) of soil. Water thoroughly. When to Apply: Every other month year-round. Trees & Shrubs: New Plantings: Before you plant, add 1 cup of Dr. Earth pure gold all purpose fertilizer to the soil that will be used to fill the tree or shrub hole. Once planting is completed, add an additional 1/2 cup and cultivate gently into the top 6 inches of planting surface and water well. Established Plants: Use 1 cup for every inch of trunk diameter (Measured at 4 in - 6 in above soil line). Broadcast inside of the drip line. Water thoroughly after application. When to Apply: Every other month year-round. Fertilizer Tea: For a rich liquid mixture of Dr. Earth pure gold all purpose fertilizer, mix 2 pounds, or 5 cups for every 5 gallons of water. Let the mixture set for 24 hours. Strain well and mulch all the solids around the root zone. The liquid portion (tea) can be applied at 1 to 2 cups per plant, or 2 to 4 cups for larger plants. Use full strength to foliar feed and for deep rot feeding of all plants. Lawns: Spot treat as needed, use 1/2 cup per 10 sq. ft. Store in a dry cool place.
