Directions

Pantry necessities: 2 eggs. 1 stick unsalted butter. 1-1/2 cup milk. 1-1/2 cup yogurt or sour cream. 2 mixing bowls. Whisk. Suggestions: Orange or lemon zest. Blueberries. Cinnamon. Small batch maple syrup. Make-It-Yourself: 1. Sit 2 eggs out-should be room temperature. 2. Pre-heat waffle iron or griddle to medium-high. 3. Melt stick of butter, set aside. 4. Empty P&TY flour mixture in a large mixing bowl. 5. In another bowl, combine the yogurt (or sour cream), milk, eggs, & melted butter in a bowl and whisk until evenly thickened. 6. To form the batter, pour the wet ingredients into the large mixing bowl containing the flour mixture. Whisk together until medium clumps form. Do not over mix. For Waffles: Pour into waffle iron and cook those babies 8-10 minutes until firm and dark brown. Recommended: Add zest of 2 oranges, some vanilla bean, cinnamon (or bourbon) to the batter. For Pancakes: Brush the hot pan or griddle with butter. Ladle 1/2-3/4 cup batter onto your hot surface. Now is the time to add in the extras; we recommend a sprinkle of blueberries & lemon zest. Once bubbles appear, flip and fry it to completion. Top with fresh berries and small batch maple syrup.
