Pantry Necessities: 9 in x 9 in pan. Parchment paper. Standing mixer. 1-1/3 cup brown sugar. 1 egg plus 1 egg white. 1 stick plus 3 tablespoon unsalted butter. 1 shot glass bourbon a generous pour. Instructions: 1. Sit two eggs out - should be room temperature. Line a pan with parchment and coat the edges with a little butter. 2. Preheat oven to 350. 3. Melt 1 stick plus 3 tablespoons unsalted butter. Pour into a bowl fit for a standing mixer. Let cool. 4. Add brown sugar to the butter bowl. Mix on low until combined. 5. Add eggs. Mix on medium-high for 2-3 minutes until throughly combined. 6. Add bourbon. Mix on low until just combined. 7. Add BIY flour mixture. Pulse to combine. 8. Add BIY chocolate and nuts. Stir to combine. 9. Evenly pour batter into parchment lined pan. 10. Bake 20-25 minutes with oven at 350. 11. Have patience! Let rest for two hours before slicing.
