Cooking Instructions: Range Top: 1. In a large skillet, bring 1-3/4 cups water and 1 tbsp unsalted butter (Olive oil may be substituted for butter) to a boil. 2. Stir in rice and contents of seasoning and orzo packet. Return to a boil. 3. Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until most of the water is absorbed and rice is tender. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving. 4. Fluff lightly with a fork and serve. Microwave: 1. In a 2 quart microwaveable glass casserole dish, combine rice, contents of seasoning and orzo packet, 2-1/4 cups of water, and 1 tbsp unsalted butter (Olive oil may be substituted for butter). 2. Cover and microwave on high for 18-20 minutes or until most of the water is absorbed and rice is tender. Let stand for 5 minutes until all water is absorbed before serving. Caution: Product and container may be hot. 3. Fluff lightly with a fork and serve. Microwave cooking times may vary depending on the particular appliance used. Refrigerate leftovers immediately in a tightly sealed container. Store in a cool dry place away from all sources of heat or moisture.
