Directions
You will need 4 large eggs room temperature. 1/2 cup vegetable oil. 1/2 cup water or milk. Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease two 8 inches or 9 inches pans or line cupcake pans with paper liners. 2. Blend eggs, oil, milk, and cake mix in a large bowl; mix on low speed until moistened (about 30 seconds). Beat with a mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour batter into pan(s). 3. Bake following the chart below or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. 4. Cool 10 minutes before removing cake from pan and cool completely before frosting. Pan Size: Two 8 inch layers - Bake Time: 25 to 32 minutes; Pan Size: Two 9 inch layers - Bake Time: 23 to 30 minutes; Pan Size: One 13 x 9 inch pan - Bake Time: 25 to 30 minutes; Pan Size: 24 cup cakes - Bake Time: 15 to 20 minutes. Chef's Tip: For an orange cake, replace water with orange juice, and add 1 tbsp orange zest. Store cooled cakes or cupcakes in tightly covered container.
