1/4 cup + 2 tbsp neutral oil such as grapeseed, sunflower, or vegetable oil. 3/4 cup hot water. Heat oven to 350 degrees F, or 325 degrees F if using a glass baking dish. Pour the entire bag of brownie mix into a large owl. Add oil and water. Mix until all of the ingredients are moistened and the batter is thick and fudgy. Continue to mix and mash for an additional 60 seconds. Add your favorite mix-ins like chocolate chips, walnuts, or pretzel pieces. Grease a 9 x 9 in square baking pan or glass baking dish. Spread the batter evenly in the pan. Bake 40-45 minutes in the center of the oven, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with only a few brownie crumbs on it. Cool brownies completely before cutting. What a rebel! Keep breaking the rules, don’t share, make yourself a little mug brownie! Put 1/3 brownie mix in a mug. Add ¼ cup water or plant-based milk. Mix all together. Microwave for 50-60 seconds. Psst, please don't eat raw batter.
