Directions

Pantry Necessities: 9 x 12 pan; 5 eggs; 2 sticks unsalted butter; 1-1/2 cup sugar; 1/2 cup brown sugar; 2 tsp vanilla; medium pot; baker's spray; mixing bowl; whisk; spatula. Bake-it-Yourself: 1. Sit 5 eggs out-should be room temperature. 2. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. 3. Line brownie pan with parchment. Coat edges with baker's spray or butter the pan & dust with flour. 4. In a medium pot, bring water to a boil, then simmer. 5. From P&TY mix, pour chocolate chips into glass or metal mixing bowl with 2 sticks of butter. 6. Place bowl over simmering water. Chocolate & butter will begin to melt. Whisk occasionally until smooth. 7. Whisk in sugars, turn off heat, leave bowl in place. 8. Add eggs. Whisk until combined. 9. Add vanilla & stir three times. 10. Gently fold flour mixture into wet ingredients with a spatula. 11. Pour batter into parchment prepared brownie pan. 12. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees. 13. Have patience! Let rest for 30 minutes before serving.
