What you'll Need: Standard Recipe: 3 eggs; 1/3 cup butter; 1/2 cup sour cream. Dairy Free Recipe: 3 eggs; 1/3 cup dairy free butter product; 1/2 cup dairy free plain yogurt. Easy as 1, 2, 3! 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Mix eggs, melted butter, and sour cream for one minute, or until blended. Add all of cake mix, and continue mixing at low-medium speed for an additional two minutes. 3. Pour into greased 8 inch x 4 inch bread pan. Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until done in center. Cool in pan 20 minutes; remove. For Caramel Frosting: 2 tablespoons butter (or non dairy butter), 2 tablespoons milk (or non dairy milk), 2 tablespoons brown sugar,1/2 cup confectioners sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla. Caramel Frosting: Allow cake to cool about 20 minutes before frosting the cake. Place in a microwave safe bowl: 2 tablespoons Butter (or non dairy butter); 2 tablespoons Milk (or non dairy milk); 2 tablespoons brown sugar. Microwave for 1 minute on high, stir, microwave for 1 additional-minute on high. Add to the mixture in the same bowl: 1/2 cup Confectioners sugar. 1/2 tsp Vanilla. Stir until well blended. Drizzle onto cooled cake.
