The Baking Instructions: Yield: 1 loaf. You Will Need: 1 cup warm water; 1 tsp flour (for dusting). Yield: 1 Loaf. 1. Empty dry mix pouch and yeast pouch into clean bowl. Mix to combine. 2. Add 1 cup warm water to bowl and mix to combine. Continue mixing until all flour has been incorporated into a single dough ball. Then, knead dough for 5 minutes until smooth. To knead, fold dough over toward you; press down and away with heels of hands. Rotate dough a quarter turn; continue kneading. Sprinkle additional flour over surface to reduce stickiness. 3. Using your hands, shape the dough into a round ball and place it onto a lightly greased baking sheet. Sprinkle 1 tsp flour evenly across the entire surface of the dough. Lightly cover the dough with a kitchen towel or moist paper towel and rest for 1 hour in a warm spot, or until dough has increased to 1.5 times its original size. 4. Using a sharp knife, make two 1/2 inch deep cuts across the top surface of the dough in the shape of an X. Cover dough with aluminum foil, creating a dome shape, leaving enough room for the bread to rise in the oven. Do not touch the dough with the foil. 5. Bake in oven at 425 degrees F for 20 minutes. Then, uncover and continue baking for 15-20 minutes or until bread has a dark brown crust and firm to touch. Cool for at least 30 minutes before cutting bread. Pro tip: If using a dutch oven, cook the bread with the lid on for 20 minutes. Then, remove the lid and continue baking for the remaining 15-20 minutes. That's a wrap! *Directions developed using conventional ovens. Ovens vary; baking time may need to be adjusted.
