Directions

Basic Wild Rice Preparation: Rinse wild rice thoroughly. Add 1 cup KC's Best Wild Rice to 4 cups boiling water. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer for approximately 45 minutes or until desired texture is obtained. Drain excess liquid. Season to taste. Try adding butter sauteed onions, green peppers, bacon or mushrooms for a gourmet treat. Makes about 3-4 cups cooked wild rice.
