Color Ideas: Colored Eggs: Combine 1/4 tsp. color, 2 tsp. white vinegar and 2/3 cup boiling water. Using a spoon, dip hard boiled eggs. Tinted Icing: For pastel colors, use 2 to 3 drops of food color per cup frosting. Blend well to avoid streaks. To obtain deeper shades, add one or more additional drops of color. Mmmm... Tinted Coconut: Mix 8 to 10 drops of color with 1 tsp. water in a mixing bowl. Add 1 cup dried coconut and toss with fork to evenly distribute color. Colored Sugar: Add 4 to 5 drops of color to 1/2 cup granulated sugar. Stir until color is evenly distributed.
