Feeding directions. Most cats eat many times during the course of a single day. A recommended feeding schedule for an adult cat is to offer half the daily amount of Companion Indoor Formula Adult Cat Food for breakfast and another half for dinner. These amounts are averages and your cat's needs may differ. Adjust total daily consumption to maintain a healthy body weight. Feeding tip: changes in your pet's feeding habits should be made gradually. Then over the next week to 10 days, increase the amounts of Companion Indoor Formula Adult Cat Food, while decreasing amounts of his/her other food, until your pet has a 100% Companion indoor formula adult cat food diet. No supplements necessary: Companion indoor formula adult cat food provides 100% complete and balanced nutrition for adult maintenance of the cat. There is no need to add supplements, unless your veterinarian specifically recommends it. Remember to provide plenty of fresh, clean water in a clean container at all times. Transition feeding tips: 1-3 days - 1/4 part Companion + 3/4 part cat food. 3-6 days - 1/2 part Companion + 1/2 part cat food. 6-9 days - 3/4 part Companion + 1/4 part cat food. 10+ days - Companion only. Close package tightly between feedings or store in an airtight container to keep product fresh. Store in a cool, dry place.
