Directions

Keep frozen. Cooking directions: Microwave: Cover pierogies in a microwave safe bowl with water. Loosely cover bowl with plastic wrap. Microwave approximately 5 minutes, drain and serve. Stove top: boil. Bring 2 quarts of water to a boil. Add frozen pierogies. Cook on medium-high heat for 5-6 minutes. Drain and serve. Stove top: saute. Place frozen pierogies in a skillet with butter or oil. Saute over medium heat. Turn occasionally until golden brown on both sides, approximately 8 minutes. Bake: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place pierogies in a single layer on a baking dish. Add 2 tablespoons of butter and 1/4 cup diced onions. Cover and bake for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
